Victoria Park Found Dead at 45

Victoria Park , 45, passed away on December 4th in Falls Junction, VA.

Victoria was born in Crescent Peak, VA in 1973 and moved to Junction Valls, VA in 1979. She got her bachelor’s degree in biology from Virginia Tech in 1998 and worked as a pharmacy technician at CVS until her death. She was an amateur mycologist and spent many hours volunteering with Falls Junction State Park’s trail maintenance program. She loved art and enjoyed studying mediumship. She was also passionate about science-fiction novels, particularly the work of Ronald P. Holtzclaw, to whom she sent weekly fan mail.

She is survived by her sister Poly Blacksmith, her niece Valeria Blacksmith-Freed, and her nephew Adrian D. Blacksmith, all of Junction Falls.

Victoria was a staunch atheist who wished to be buried at sea, but a memorial will be held at the Elk Pavilion at Junction Falls State Park on Tuesday, December 25th.
