The Sabateur

In The Sabateur, two cyborgs, one pianist and one guitarist, begin an exchange of musical phrases only to find that the output of their instruments is being controlled by a Sabateur. As the piece progresses, the Sabateur eventually takes control of their instruments entirely. This piece mirrors how authoritarian tech services can intercept and sabotage our data until our own personalities are unrecognizable.
